So, there is this commercial for the Lap and Snack. A bowl that fits on your leg so you don't need to balance, you don't have to hold the bowl and it makes it easier to share. I always get so excited when it comes on because of course, I want one. Badly. As bad as I want bandaids that have pickles on them.
Half way through the commercial, the screen and my dream of lap 'n' snack ownership is ripped away to reveal an SUV. And then the commercial has the audacity to tell me to get out more. Pfff. Whatever. I want the lap 'n' snack more than the SUV.
